mcr Sil MK - refractory adhesive

Technical Approval: ITB no. AT-15-9783/2016

Certificate of Compliance: ITB-2511/W

The mcr Sil-MK adhesive is designed for fixing calcium silicate (cement silicate) boards, e.g. mcr Silboard, gypsum boards and fibrous materials, e.g. mineral wool, glass wool, ceramic fibres, various types of soluble fibres, to various substrates, such as steel, aluminium, galvanised steel and others.

It is composed of inorganic ingredients and forms a completely non-combustible coating (MO/P.V.L.N.E. class). It improves the fire resistance of the components on which it is applied.

The surface to be coated with the mcr Sil-MK adhesive should be clean and dry.

Mix the mcr Sil-MK adhesive well before each use. If necessary, the adhesive can be diluted with water (maximum 5%).

Depending on the type of surface, apply the adhesive on one or both surfaces to be bonded.

The bonding time of the adhesive depends on the temperature and air humidity.

Drying  occurs at air temperature. It is possible to accelerate the drying by hot-drying at 80-90°C.

The adhesive is designed for indoor applications.

Store in a cool and dry place.
